Its principle is radically new. The speaker wears a smart microphone that captures and transmits their voice in high definition. The hearing-impaired person receives this signal in a dual-conduction headset—air and bone conduction—which bypasses common obstacles like earwax buildup. No adjustments, no prescription, no complicated setup.
Spokeo is not a replacement for a hearing aid: the two can coexist and often complement each other. But for seniors experiencing a loss of autonomy—at home, in a nursing home, or at the doctor's office—it offers an immediate, prescription-free solution where communication had been lost.
